Question about pouet prod edition
category: general [glöplog]
Some of the prods I've added to pouet are in one of my hosting accounts and now I want to change these to a new server. The url for the files will change then. Is there any way to update the links?
Thanks

I think it's best to post about it here: http://pouet.net/topic.php?which=1024

Ummm... ok.
But couldn't be a good option editing for your own prods added to pouet?

nanook: it would probably be a little bit complex to implement. The database would need some kind of User<->Prod relationship and it would be quite a work to maintain or setup.
Not to mention the usual idiots who would probably try to mess things up...

I have to second keops on this one. Seeing the fauna on Pouet, I doubt that's a good idea to give such power to anyone.
a big button saying "delete pouet?" would be cool tho :)
And... what about a "report a broken link (404) for this prod" buttom? It could be really easy to be done. Just trying to download a part of the file, thats all, and maybe only for registered users, and only 1 click on that buttom for every N seconds/minutes. In my humble opinion, the fix me beatiful could be done in a little bit more automatized way...

if this prod is a fake, some info is false or the download link is broken,
do not post about it in the comments, it will get lost.
instead, email or post about it.
Which part of the quote didn't you get?
what does "fake" mean?
I would give you some examples but filipe is fast in deleting all these fakes. ;)
One was Visual Stuio, released as a demo tool.
