DiamonDie's movie credit

category: general [glöplog]
I think she just got credited for ASCII Art is Miranda July's great movie "Me and You and Everyone We Know". I'd show you a screenshot of it, but it doesn't run on my XP.

you mean the ascii art the two sons keep making by the one telling the other what keys to press ? not too shabby arthouse movie either, cool music too
Weyland: Yeah, I guess. Didn't see much OTHER ascii art in the movie :) (except the 'homemade' one the movie gets its title from, ofcourse)

Here's a couple of IMDb sceners I can remember offhand:

Mikael Balle / TSL: http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0050716/
Static / Rebels: http://us.imdb.com/name/nm1064860/
Guess who?: http://us.imdb.com/name/nm1224245/
Merit / Bloodsuckers: http://us.imdb.com/name/nm1473109/
Eki "Sisävesikala" Carebear / Orange: http://us.imdb.com/name/nm1599216/
Kakka / Damones: http://us.imdb.com/name/nm1767550/

Of course there are plenty of more out there. And even more of those with only video game credits. Feel free to continue the list :)

It seems you can never hide from the demoscene. I haven't even seen the movie yet, the cheapskate producers never sent me a copy. It was a nice surprise when I heard it had won some prizes and the reviews have generally been very positive.

If I'm not mistaken the piece in the movie should be the tiger picture that I won the ASCII compo at Icecube 2003 with, locating it is left as an exercise for the reader.

Ok, I am one of the zombies in Horizonica, a low budget dutch zombie slasher which is currently in post-production. There were about 200 other zombies in the scene though so I'm not sure if I'll be visible at all in the final movie :-)
