I wonder why Israel belongs to Europe in some events. For example Eurovision song contest and World cup soccer qualification (they play in european group).
I though the European border to Asia was in between turkey and syria etc. So why are not Syria welcome in Eurovision song contest.

I believe it has something to do with the fact that most european countries are christian. Since jesus was born in Israel major christian instituties in Europe want to be in their favor. And well, who wouldn't like to sing or play football with the God's Nation?

Because many israeli are immigrants from europe or descendants of such. Many israeli are arabs, they probably feel the country should be part of the middle east. The middle east doesn't share their sentiment.

Turkey should be kicked out of Europe too make room for Adokistan.
