How many US-soldiers will die.

Another betting. How many US-soldiers will die in Iraq? I bet on 2000. You can check the result on www.lunaville.com.

I think Bush is aiming to break Osama's record of who can kill the most Americans. He got a head start with the Texas executions..

All of them, I hope! The less troops Bush has, the easier it will be on the rest of us when he comes to conquer our countries.
I'd rather we send all bush-voters to Iraq

I read that recently the amount of civilians killed in iraq reached about 110 000 since bush invaded. hmmm. how many civilians do they plan to kill? is it really the only kind of freedom they can bring to these people?

Well bush seems to have spent about $144,000,000,000 (http://costofwar.com/) on killing over 1,100 of his own soldiers (http://www.antiwar.com/casualties/) and at least 14,000 innocent civilians(!) (http://www.iraqbodycount.net/), and this is only in Iraq, Afghanistan not included.

From http://costofwar.com/ what he could have done instead:

- Instead, we could have fully funded world-wide AIDS programs for 14 years.

- Instead, we could have ensured that every child in the world was given basic immunizations for 47 years.

- Instead, we could have fully funded global anti-hunger efforts for 5 years.

There are more examples on the page.

I don't get it how he can think of this as doing ANYTHING to make the world more secure! He is killing almost as many innocent people as the terrorists themselves do!
Instead of doing as terrible things as they do, he should see to that he does not do the same errors as they do.
But as we have two fundamentalists on both sides, there can sadly only be conflicts ... neither side will agree just to move one step towards the other.

I think bush should see what he himself does wrong, and correct his own behaviour. I don't think he can stop terrorism in this way, he will just make the US even a more attractive target to them.
Would he have spent money on the examples above I think the world WOULD have been safer now than it was in 2001.

I'm sorry if this is somewhat Off-Topic.

>> $144,000,000,000

You should, of course, always describe this kind of figures as a ratio of population size.

I mean, just about *any* absolute statistics value is going to be astronomical when talking about a country with 250M people.

Hopefully much more. Because all American soldiers are volunteers, a small amount of militarism dies with every soldier. Also, perhaps enough dead Americans would prevent them from attacking more countries..
