Retrieving XNFO's from Pouet

category: general [glöplog]

Hello,

I was just wondering if it's a bug that whenever I retrieve an Amiga-production from Pouet's XNFO-interface, the output is always missing the platform tags when sending Amiga-productions (I have only tested Windows + Amiga stuff).

Have a look at : http://www.pouet.net/export/prod.xnfo.php?which=7642

And compare it with:
http://www.pouet.net/export/prod.xnfo.php?which=9450
thats couz most of the xnfo tags were made on request and half of them are still missing (due to database structure changes and general lack of page update).

the whole page is mostly "hardcoded" instead of reading from the db. i've fixed a few things on it upon request by stefan for mac.scene.org but lots of the page is still in need of a rewrite and i was too lazy/out-of-time to do it yet.

purely out of interest, what are you using these xnfos for?

(that was a question for rasmus, not "the general case")

So the answer to my question is that it's a(nother) bug in pouet. I'd really like if there were some way to discover if a production is Amiga or not :)
whats that "xnfo" thing for anyway?

no problems solved, but it would easen the troubles of retrieving demo/intro/whatever-data from puoet.net
