I modified Furnace to produce X68000 compatible files and made a replay routine for those.

Nice work! I do some similar work by processing the VGM export into a stream which could be played on the x68000. It's all working but the amount of waiting time the cpu does against a lot of FM writes made it a bit... rubbish.

Wait times in Yamaha FM chips, oh well... I can totally feel your pain.

Not sure it this motivating or demotivating to continue my own X68000 tracker project as it's kinda both. This gave me the push to try out Furnace Tracker and it seems quite nice at a first glance.
