Demosplash will be returning to celebrate its 15th year in less than two weeks, Friday October 31 through Saturday November 1 in the Cohon University Center at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA USA. This year we'll be featuring a hands-on shader workshop from FriendlySpinach and LuxLain, and an intro to and community showcase of oscilloscope music courtesy of DJ_Level_3. As always, we'll be having a full slate of compos, screenings of new and classic demos on as much original hardware as we can bring, and for those attending in person our retro game room.
If you're interested in entering one (or more) of our compos, you can view all the categories and rules here and submit your entry to our compo management system, which is open now. If you're not able to come to Pittsburgh to attend in person fear not. Our friends at SceneSat will be livestreaming the entire party, you can participate live via Discord or the #demosplash IRC channel on irc.libera.chat, and you can vote on your favorite compo entries with your SceneID account.
