Amiga Games @ Aaron MJ Fisher

Hello, all!

Here are all of the AMOS games I wrote on my Amiga 1200 back in the early 1990s! They are mostly puzzle games, although one of them, Dangerous Natives, is more of an action game, and as I don't know 680x0 assembler now or then, so AMOS was my only way to making these games.

I am quite proud of the graphics in Brainbow and Dangerous Natives in particular, as I rendered the bumpy coloured patterns on the main screen in Brainbow from routines I adapted from my fractal landscape generators, and used multiple palettes in Dangerous Natives for the high number of colours visible on an OCS/ECS Amiga, as AGA wasn't available to AMOS.

Revolver also had a "computer tampering" mode which I thought of myself, which is an optional way to make the game more challenging, even with the time limit.

So, enjoy! Let me know what you think! :)

I hate to admit it, but Revolver has a couple of problems:

1. In a game where rapid left- and right-mouse clicking within a time limit is prevalent, I foolishly programmed in (probably at the last moment) a "cancel game" option where both mouse buttons are clicked, which is rather inane. I'm sure someone could aid me in removing that option, but I don't have the original source code and I wouldn't know how to patch the relevant code.

2. The "computer tampering" option is cool, where the computer randomly rotates four tiles at regular intervals in either direction, but this doesn't stop even if only one or two seconds are left on the timer, so the computer could do this at the last moment without the player being able to fix it. I should've put that in back in the day.
