Some CPCists are starting a public personal vendetta against Hicks. I find this utmostly contemptible (especially when done in a pack).
Granted, the scene and sub-scenes used to come with some intestine wars and drama. By the way and in my book, pretexting that to "quit the scene" (rather than leading by example) is just a very poor excuse to one's own laziness (both in creativity and behavior). A passionate musician won't stop doing music because he encounters some assholes, presumed or real. Ok, that's just a pet peeve of mine.
When I read 64Nops or Memory Full, I feel nothing but motivated.
On the contrary, bad faith blog posts are dispiriting. Even valid points are drown in so much negativity.
This post only wants to serve as a reminder:
- Don't believe everything (anything?) you read online (including this. For instance, this post wants nothing, as it is just a bunch of bytes on a server).

srsly cpc people, this ancient and currently still a bit sick atari guy does not understand what the problem in your scene is. it seems to be active, people are getting together, releasing stuff, drinking, all that good stuff. the only really suspect thing are probably the oysters the author of that report seems to crave so much. like wtf bro, i come from one of the top 5 oyster producing countries in the world according to a quick google, but i never have and never will eat that slimy goop voluntarily, we sell that shit to whoever is crazy enough to pay for it, just like our "moules" which are similarly repulsive from a culinary POV, be careful, before you know it they will start serving these turds over a fine dish of deepfried potato sticks instead of god's own sauce (mayonaise, obviously, what else?!)

"Problematicks", that's sounds like an interesting name for a demo. Just like Mathematics but it has ticks in it's name, it's a nice mash up.
