Buenzli’s back, alright!
Three is the charm! It’s finally time to invite the demoscene back to Switzerland.
And beside all you can expect from a normal demoparty, we have a very special offer: After successfully adapting the Graffathon-concept from the Finland this year, we are excited to offer a
Demolab 101 Workshop!
Learn how to make your first demo!
After the initial introduction, our mentors will just be there for you to answer any questions and support you. So you will be able to work flexibly at your own time, and not miss out on any compos, events, socialising or sleep.
And of course we will do a special results-screening and prizes for all participants that managed to build a scene!
The workshop is limited to ca. 15 participants from around 12 to 120 years old, and as we'll base it on Processing, p5js and/or Cables.gl, does not require previous coding experience.
Sign-up for the workshop will start along with the ticket sale in December/early January.
Events: Meteoriks Nomination Gala, Special Live Act, The Famed OHP Compo
We are excited to lend our stage to The Meteoriks, who will announce this year’s nominations at MountainBytes!
Instead of a DJ set, we will then have a loooooong demoshow afterwards, showing all nominated productions!
Of course Buenzli/Demodays’ famous OHP Compo will also make its return - be sure to have your foils ready!
The Special Live Act will be announced once we move closer to the party… just know for now that we’re in touch with a very exciting act for you!
Fewer Compos, More Room for Discussions
We merged most compos to make room for a leaned-back discussion between the participants and compo orgas (and everyone who wants to listen and ask questions) afterwards.
Tell us, the audience and especially our workshop participants more about your creative process, and help us learning from each other!
And yes, of course there will still be voting and prizes.

Of course these two powerhouses need no introduction - Cyanide Dansen had us captivated with her 8bit-tunes and awesome live shows all over Europe; so we are over the moon that she is going to rock the place during our Compo Night on Saturday.
And not only that - the one-and-only flopine will join in and live-code visuals during the set!

Regarding sleeping at the party hall - are there showers at the location?
Yes, we'll have some downstairs people can use. Nothing fancy, but should do the trick. :)

I'll be bringing a schuko power strip with 3 sockets - one of them is for me :) - hoping to match with someone that brings an adapter! (or I'll do some last minute shopping in a nearby electronics store).
