In search of correct artist names and track titles (downloads inside)
category: general [glöplog]
Hello people,
Way back in 2004 or so, I had an ipod nano 2G and at the time I still used the official itunes software with it, which had the terrible habit to convert and save newly added mp3 songs with cryptic file names instead of their original file names or tags.
Previously, most likely between 2002 - 2004, I had downloaded a ton of tracker modules from the then very popular site traxinspace.com, and many of these tracks I had converted into mp3 so I could listen to them on the go with the ipod. But then the inevitable happened - a hard disk crashed, original tracker music data was lost .. and all that remained were the converted mp3 files on my ipod, without any file names. Great.
While I managed to recover various tracks and artist names over the years, there are still five tracks that I could find absolutely zero information about. Maybe you can help? Grab them from my server and have a listen - and if you can, point me to the right direction of where I can find the original tracked music again? That'd be superb :)
Track 01
Track 02
Track 03
Track 04
Track 05
or
All of the above in a ZIP
tl;dr:
- mp3 recordings (with partly wrong replayer settings) of former .s3m .xm .it or .mod tunes from traxinspace.com
- file names lost due to loss of original files, mp3 files were recovered from ipod nano, which stored files with cryptic names (I renamed them to Track 0x etc.)
Please help me find these artists! Much thanks! :D

Oh, I just discovered 85659-motion.it on modarchive.org, which was another track I was looking for: Perpetual Motion by Reactor Grits.
Turns out that Track 03 and 04 were also created by Reactor Grits:
Aenemia
Phainomai
Yay, so that's two down and three more tracks to hunt down!

Shazam revealed another one, woohoo! Track 02 appears to be Space Age by Black Science Labs, although I could not find a tracker module for it. A vinyl record was released in '99.
So now there are only names / sources missing for tracks 01 and 05!

Vinyl release for tracker music sounds funny. I wonder how many such releases exist in total.
i actually have a pete cannon vinyl featuring 4 early octamed amiga dnb style songs (which was far too expensive taking the shipping/tax costs and the "4.99 puonds" it reads on the top into account), but im sure theres more.
jsyk black science labs is an alias of dj teebee.
Flashira: that is correct, yes! Thx for the info! :)
