be kind, be open, respect each other.... shout AMIGAAAAAA.

in the late 80´s and 90´s it was about fame, beeing 37173 and other things. Seems that scene nowadays changed. it became alot smaller, but it also becamer a lot more relaxed about that "Elite thingy". at least after 2010 ;-)

People working together and working for a bigger idea to keep the scene alive.

not the worst thing that could happend along all those years since i took my bike for the first time and carried discs from location to location ;-)
elitegroup, please come back and rescue us.

Let me remind you that "getting over it" and "having a hard shell" is not something everyone experiences.

Maybe elitism and/or being a dick was acceptable long time ago, but now it's time to destroy it.

if you can't to be a member of this community without being negative (which does not mean valid criticism, by the way!), then maybe you should go away and make your own community.
Or idk, maybe change, think more about others, instead of being selfish?

So how do you destroy elitism - with lameness?

I'm more afraid of the 'allies' than the rhetoric. I have observed this in a political party and know how it ends when people who value codes of conduct come in droves. In this case however there is hope. The fights are not fought on the interwebs, but on the machines. Lamers sort out themselves, or by becoming better there might come the insight into the idiosyncracies and historical context of this culture.
