Let's nerd-talk prepping samples for Protracker

category: music [glöplog]
I've tested several of my mods on a real Amiga (A4000/060) in the past that use those upper two notes and never noticed any issues with them.

Maybe it's something that happens more quickly on lower specced machines, but I barely expect anyone to listen to my tunes, let alone on real hardware (:

May be screen mode dependent... Might be worth trying if they bork on NTSC screens...

bitter subject. i know IT handled more channels, there was polyphony (NNA) and filters.. but i hated the UI, that's why i stuck with FT2 instead

bit of both. running it on an 060 will mean the code is running in fast ram so doesn't interfere with DMA cycles (as much). also screen mode will affect this, for example running a high-res screen will steal more cycles from the CPU and Audio DMA.
