Making music is way easier to get into and a lot of people do it, outside demoscene context as well obviously. Making a demo is a whole different ball game. I expect them to have way mor entries for music indeed.

I think those prizes look fine seeing what TG offers.

Since prizes are essentially an incentive for participation it IMO it would make more sense to raise the prizes where you want more participation... then again not that many people will release at TG when they can release at Revision.
