Random scientific paper thread
category: general [glöplog]
Hi, been asked for papers before on here, thought to just make an own thread for it instead of starting a new one each time. So this is a thread where people can discuss anything inside a paper or ask of directions to where one can find one is searching for.
I'll start by asking if anyone knows what this paper is named and where to find it. It's a paper published in 1880 by Thorvald Thiele concerning least squares for brownian motion.

I think I found the name for it:
Om Anvendelse af Mindste Kvadraters Metode i nogle Tilfelde, kvor en Komplikation af visse Slags uensartede tilfeldige Fejlkilder giver Fejlene en "systematisk Karakter". (On
the application of the method of least squares in situations where irregular random errors make the errors have a "systematical character".) Copenhagen, 28 pp.

Try this one, as it is short, old and insightful.

Speaking of history, as there was also a thread about Delaunay....
Anyone knowns maybe a link to an english translation of original paper by B. Delaunay, "Sur la sphère vide. A la mémoire de Georges Voronoï" (the method of empty sphere) ?
(and yes, I've tried searching for it, but no luck)
