Why isn't the "login for 1 year" tickbox available on the login form placed at the bottom of individual prods? It's on these pages that you're most likely to want to sign in, if you're not already, and then you find yourself doing it five times a day or some shit. Admittedly, this is only an annual problem, but it'd be nice to have that tickbox there.

syphus: i totally disagree with your analysis, if i want to sign in for a year i do that on the mainpage. if it's only to add a comment from a machine i don't normally use i might sign up from a prod page, having a 1 year tickbox thingie there is a huge security risk for demented ppl like me
