Too many of the "usual suspects" not going this year due to family, kids, etc.

Also it has become increasingly more attractive for people living around Copenhagen to simply take the airplane to Frankfurt (which I fully understand)

The bus will simply be too expensive with only 12 attendees (around 400€ per person).

Sad to see it cancelled.
This year it makes more sense to go CPH-LUX than CPH-FRA, which is quite expensive.
And especially if we could have a few more take that route (out 8:35 home 17:20/40), it would be quite convenient with a rented car from LUX (~90km).

Psycho: If there are enough people flying to LUX, we can try to arrange a shuttle bus. Call 0800-STYX and he'll be happy to arrange that for you ;)

Anyone got a link to the CPH-LUX route

Well, LuxAir of course....Now I need a traveling party from 1 of April that travels to the party.

Shit just got complicated.

deus: luxair cph-lux at 8:35, and sas lux-cph at 17:40 - seems to be 1398dkk atm (skyscanner.net) - a few days ago it was possible with luxair both ways for 838dkk.
1398 isn't overly cheap, but cph-fra is like 2000+

I found them for 1035 NOK for roundtrips which is far from bad considering what the bus would cost.

But I need to know what is the best way to get back and forth from Luxembourg before I decide so I'm dependent on the knowledge of any alternatives before I make a decision.

I don't know if it's the best option or not, but I came in through Luxembourg my first trip to Revision. If you head down to the Luxembourg Gare Centrale from the airport there's a bus you can catch to town. It drops you off and picks you up from Saarbrücken HBF. There's a bunch of taxis waiting there usually if you need a further ride in to town. I didn't plan the bus ahead of time and just picked up my ticket in Luxembourg for the trip out catching the next one to leave. On the way back I don't recall but I may have bought the ticket with the bus operator as there's no option to do so inside the Saarbrücken HBF.
Dfox: then we would like a shuttle for FRA thursday at 8 pm please.

A good chunk of the signups have found an alternative to the bus:

Flying Aalborg - Frankfurt, going out thursday evening, going home early tuesday morning.

We will not be coordinating anything special for this for others, but at least the airplane ticket was cheap when we bought it, so there might still be a chance for cheap tickets.

Transport to/from Aalborg and to/from Frankfurt you will have to figure out yourself :)

I miss the bus already :(

Me too... :(

Hopefully the bus will happen next year again, when all people kids are grown up, and can stay home alone ;)

PERFECTION!!

Aalborg-Frankfurt option was troublesome because my plane home leaves Castrup at 12.50 on the 7th.

But I can just get a plane from Aalborg to CPH which leaves an hour after we arrive back at Aalborg.
Which in turn gives me another hour to check in for my last flight.

If I can join in on the expedition to Aalborg and/or share a hotel room at Frankfurt airport I'll be set.

Deus: At the moment, we can't promise you anything, we are troubleshooting the rest of our setup, so until we have found a solution for that, you are on your own. We can't promise you a spot afterwards either, at the moment it seems like we fit perfectly in two cars and 4 hotel rooms.

Styx: Hugs and kisses

Oh and about the thirsty arrivals, we are talking directly to Lufthansa about making it a SAUFFLUGZEUG

Just for that lug00ber, I will not have a beer with you during breakfast at Crystal!

SAUFFLUGZEUG! I might just fly to Denmark only to fly back on that plane!

Dwarf: Well I figured out that by now.

I'm sure I can find tired sceners at Frankfurt Main, I see Darklite found an hotel.

Not sure what I should do night to the 2nd, I got the time so I guess I can find a cheap'O hostel downtown or close to the airport.
(Or who knows, maybe I will get a proper work contract in Mars so I don't have to worry about pennies)

But ignoring all that I hope its not to presumptuous to assume I can ride with you on any eventual shuttle bus with the arrival privileges.
