drfreak339: Oh, uh ... thanks
Saga Musix: Not quite. In fact it's an archive containing a bunch of empty folders whose name is parsed to generate the image you see.

Advanced Raytracing by Broncs in 256b ;)
been done
ahaha sure
SVG! unlimited size. had to manually craft this. I could probably do better with svgz anyhow, but I didn't want to invest more time on it. Some browsers might not show it correctly, since it defaults to values and may varies from one renderer to another...
:) interesting ... mmmh I suspect the form to submit logos only accepts png, gif, jpe?g though
I used EoG (Eye of GNOME, which relies on libcairo) to view this image, which results to:
Does that image work on ANY web brower? SVGs require a different tag ussually to display. :(
58 bytes.
what did i win?
micksam7: It works, except for the font size :\ in Opera 9.5b+, and for the transparency in Safari 3.1. Firefox 3b5 and IE8b1 both fail.
The SVG 1.1 spec says (x)HTML user agents MUST support SVG as (x)HTML Image Element.
s0r: 198 bytes ;)

LiraNuna: looks like style="font'size:180" is not valid, the correct syntax seem to just be font-size="180"
LiraNuna: It shows with white background on Safari 3.1 on Leopard.
weird, it is font-size, here's the code saved on local copy (/var/www/):
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?><svg xmlns:svg="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" width="640" height="480"><text x="320" y="240" style="font-size:180"><tspan x="30" y="290">POÜET</tspan></text></svg>

http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG/images/text/text01.svg the spec seem to disagree.
... trying to get something with SVG. At least yours can be trimmed to 152 bytes.

255b with turbulence and shit. It looks kinda cool over the trumpet :D
looks like webKit/Safari doesn't support the turbulences :'(
2 logos, both 85x29x4 colours, including transparency.
Both 256 bytes exactly.

LiraNuna: I don't specify the encoding, thinking that set on the pages of pouët would cascade. Did you see the broken character here or somewhere else where ?
