Okay, so I know we promised to tell you guys who got demobox kits, but due to internal privacy policies at NVIDIA, we can't actually do that. Our bad, since we should have checked with them before promising to release a list. We just want to emphasize that there was no "you must release"-clause when people applied for the demobox kits, and nobody needs to return it. It's theirs for the keeping and we hope they use it to make more and better demos, which was the initial point anyway.

So, if you really really REALLY want to know who got the kits and who didn't, asking around is probably your best approach. Some people have already talked openly about getting the kit already so it's not like they keep it a secret :)

actually i just wanted to see the list to clearly see the bias on the selection criteria. why am i not that surprised that it won't get disclosed..

bah, you just kept half of the demokits for yourself and don't want to reveal that!

ps: i didn't hear about any quality groups whose requests were denied(?).. so afaik, one could only argue nvidia might have given a few demoboxes too many to some people with questionable track records, resulting in envy among some of their peers.

what about 'FR getting 5 boxes' rumour ?

AFAIK, Paniq and Tournesol (maybe among others) got demoboxes for making the NVScene invitation.

the list of accepted demobox requests is of no interest to me. a list of denied demobox requests might be, but i don't understand why people would keep quiet about it if they had been mistreated, so i assume it will not lead to any new insights. (again, feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.)
