Could one of the pouet.net admins please clarify whether pouet.net is only to be used by active demosceners? I never perceived pouet.net as such. Also, I think a diskmag is a contribution to the demoscene.

@ringo: don't waste your energy on that topic since - as you can see - it brings nothing in the end. better invest it into some contribution (there was some talking about in another thread if i remember correctly). actually that would be really nice. never too late/old to start :)

Active/inactive shouldn't matter, all that could be asked of you is to (have) contribute(d) to the scene in some way instead of being the cause of massive waste of time for a lot of people .. that shouldn't be so hard now should it?
I see no reason that people like ringo can use pouet, but since such people continue to post in nor create topics in the bbs that are completely irrelevant to anything in the scene and pushing down important or interesting stuff from the top - that's the most annoying thing - and no, that can not just be ignored for several years!

Do I think whether Pouet should be exclusive to active demosceners? No.
Do I think people within the context of Pouet should be judged by their scene merit? Absolutely.
