Still can't believe he's gone. :(
Imagine having been away for a few years and losing touch, only now checking out how things are going now and then learning this...
As a long-time friend and collaborator with Mike on his prods, I can confidently say no one ever pushed my craft as a musician to such heights. Few people (if any) have ever aligned this much in terms of visual, musical and creative vision. Being also an extremely pleasant person to be around and to work with made for a unique creative synergy during our time in TRBL. It produced some of my proudest moments and chapters of my life - and I know he would have thought likewise.
Our time making demos, hanging out at numerous parties, and us spending a few days at my place after tUM 2013 are, and have always been, cherished memories. I cherish them even more after learning what happened. Pleased to see he is remembered so well by so many other people in the scene.
Mike, let's reacquaint in the afterlife. I'll bring the beer. Let's shoot the sh*t and make a prod for the ages again.
