So yes these are the prizes. But for those who compete and come #6+, they have to give back their nvidia boxes, sorry ....

It wouldn't because: "We're doing this for fun".
yeah, why organizing a party in a third-world country ?
Trace: Not that prizes ought to be everything, but the first prize includes two top-of-the-line NVIDIA gfx cards as well as a full Microsoft Visual Studio Pro license.
Also, just for attending (physically :), you get a free copy of both Softimage XSI (academic license, very good!) and "Spore", which is not a bad "freebie" I think. :)

i must admit that Spore for everybody makes me envious :>
spore is utter ruleage, that alone makes the whole thing worth it. i doubt that there can actually be a good game in there, but i bought the editor and have had heaps of fun with it(worth every nicle). Only at some point it struck me....i wonder how many penis animals are going to inhabbit the spore universe when its out =/ ...give kids with raging hormones and /b/tards access to the development tools that can actually make bonadfide changes to the game world, and it sounds like a recipee for utter disaster and parental complaints gallore, but hey...what do i know, im not a game designer, im a cunt.
@gloom:
you know I really don't mean it, but it was an interesting point to make. really appreciate all the outreach work you guys are doing <3<3<3
Spore sounds like the most interesting thing on the pack to me too :)

spore will steal your valuable time from developing further demos.
Navis: ..or make an excellent 3D-model exporter for future Jumalauta demos :)
top-of-the-line NVIDIA gfx cards will make all your fans unhappy because your demos won't work on their machines anymore.
Microsoft Visual Studio Pro license will force you to stay in Windows.
Softimage XSI... er... will make you code less.

trace: Must suck to be you and only have POOR fans!
trace: ok, that was rather rediculous...
you guys forgot this is pouet?
in that case you're not allowed to complain ever again about trolling :)
haha, I know, I gave up ;)
From the official rules:
Do log files count?
Code:
The demos must not write to any of the drives permanently.
