Why so many macosx demos?

Well, as more and more people can only watch demos from videos, coders can code on whatever exotic platform they want.
So unless Vista screws up video replay more than HDCP, it's still a viable alternative for the crowd. :)

exin, now you're missing the point.

the difference between mac and pc today is the same as the difference between dos and windows some years back. same hardware, different os. in the sence of making demos for a hardware platform it doesn't matter shit which os you start the demo from.

If people just would make more PowerPC demos ("Intel only" pisses me off.. haven't you heard of universal builds?? ;-) ) for osx that works with Radeon 9200 I would be a much happier Mac owner.. :-D
Perhaps it's time to replace my 12" iBook but it works so well it seams like a waste of money right now. Ok, I could code some universal binaries for older hardware but that's a different issue.. :-)
