I actually never had the problem of motivating myself.
I think that every musician out there (excluding radix and vic, perhaps) has at least 10-15 tune which were specifically composed to be in a demo, and then just didn't, for various reasons.

The hard time comes when I try to motivate coders: I usually bug them to death until they break down crying.

I usually get a lot of motivation after visiting a party or watching some great demo, but usually it is gone after couple of days so I wait for some holiday to start really doing something.

I am always thinking of this but can't work it out. I DO want to be active in the scene (for what reason?) but then again it is supposed that I shouldn't, because of what you say. But then I'll have to quit the scene, but I come back to that and I want to be active again because that was my dream..

Mmm,. that would be the very best solution, I wish Nasty Bugs members were in the same city though ;( But after all, I wish we were all focused and motivted for the same purpose. At least, I am lost..
As for the CPC, I am always close to my friend Antitec, but he isn't interested in doing something on the CPC anymore (except the CPC Booster+ hardware, which pays him back). And I am over too for some time..

Coder are always lazier: I have a lot of tunes and gfx in my HD from our Dirty Minds musician, but I have used none of them ;P
