Coders and graphicians should be the most fat people. Musicians at least have to move their feet to the rhythm/ use a pedal/ swing their arms over more than one meter width. Although this empirical relationship somehow doesn't hold true.
In general, a demoscener would not become fat only in 2 cases:
- he is so busy demomaking that he doesn't have enough time to eat; or
- he does not spend enough time at the computer/ sleeps well/ doesn't produce much/ leads normal life.

In those Altstork pictures you can see Astu (the grumpy guy with long reddish hair) and Paavi (the one covered in yoghurt), both coders of ISO, a group that has been claimed to have made over 800 demos and both rather slim. I guess they've been too busy coding (and boozing) to eat.
Actually geeks in general seem to usually be either very slim (like me) or heavily overweight. It's rare to see athletic bodies. But IMO that's just good. :-P
