Regarding sleeping, well - depends on what the orgas allow, and what you prefer.
Personally I'll go oldschool and sleep in the hall from thursday -> friday if I'm allowed to. Planning to sleep in the hall every night anyway :)

I previously slept in the hall from thursday-friday that was okay. I am lodged with the fabulous FARFAR at the Crystal though :)

If there is a shuttlebus, I can't see any problem with that, but I'm not guessing on a bus, we're not planning one, we're looking at rental cars atm.

there's a ton of options from frankfurt international to saarbrucken as far as i can tell so im not worried

We were planning on taking the 3-hour train ride from FRA to saarbrucken... maybe not the cheapest, but certainly stress-free.

trixter: when are you arriving? If it's friday you should look at the Revision airport shuttles.

Been taking the train from the airport every year, it works great, and gives some nice scenery on the way. ( <3 narrow valleys with rural houses.. )

Not that I want to undermine the shuttle buses the Revision guys set up (I just happen to get bus sick, so trains are pretty much my only option), those take you directly to the party place and you'll be in the company of plenty very many other sceners, so those are probably an even better option for most.

Funny, I think I'd rather the bus ... I got sick on the train last year. However I come in on Thursday every year so that's not an option for me. Trains seem to be relatively on time and the cost wasn't too bad if you need to catch one on Thursday.

We are arriving possibly as early as Wednesday, so no shuttle for us. But I'll definitely need the shuttles going from the party to hotels!

trixter: allthough not officially confirmed yet, the night shuttles will have close to 100% the same schedule as in 2014 (see http://2014.revision-party.net/traveling/night_day_shuttles). Also, no need to sign up for those. Just hop on board :)
