I have an 8600M GT in this laptop, getting a new one for crimbo with a bit more oomph. I'll be running Win8 on it, I suppose someone will have to. XD

As for 8600GT - we have serious problems with that since 256 MB is definitely not enough. We could tweak up some textures so maybe it would run on low settings, but it will most probably crash in the middle during allocation of some kind. We have that card (256MB) and it works just in openGL (well it works ;) ) on dx11 out of memory kills the app.

Wouldn't that rule out the intel HD GPUs? Or do they use system RAM?
