Hello everybody... Ringo, in case no one told you for your animated gif :
1. Just put all your images one by one on different layers, the first being the lowest in the list.
2. When all is done, right click then choose Save as or Export depending on the version you use...
3. In the window that appears, check "As animation", leave "Loop Forever" checked, obviously, then choose a delay between each frame (test different values if needed, you'll have to resave), Select "One image per frame (replace) in the listbox, check the last two options and click "Export" or "Save"...
4. ???
5. Profit ! :)

Cheers Korg - I did try that - it just seems to pile the letters ontop of each other rather than a letter for each frame. But thanks.
