I actually _might_ be able to come.
Can I enter a book trailer in the video compo? Book trailers are technically ads (well, so are invitros), but my publisher is very small, and the trailer is created myself with a budget of 0 euros. The book is about chronic illness, so the theme requirements are easy to fill. There are going to be some demo effects (whether or not it's going to be published at Altparty) and other video material, so it's not like some book trailers which are essentially just slideshows of text.
DiamonDie: sounds alright to me, especially because it sort-of fits into the whole Hospital theme on at least a tangent. I say go ahead :) (I'm in the compoteam)

btw. since the deadlines for 23k exe music and rave music compo are so soon after the doors open, it might be a good idea to send your entry via email before arriving here.
Speaking about deadlines, I'll admit a defeat here - I can't find them on the website. It seems like our production for alternative combined could still use some reconstructive surgery to make it through the compo, so when must we be done?
