Oh noez, they're blaming tSCc because things like this never happened before. :(

More a feat in code than graphics, should you value whatever effort in there.

Wow. Keops. Just ...wow. While I was hoping to keep this /msg disagreement amongst the two of us, the gloves are off from this moment on.

Fortunately, the genuine Outline orgs (hello Havoc) show much more respect to people who worked for them.

I would love to see where I actually took over Havoc's cap and started representing Outline. It's an Atari party where Havoc calls the shots. I'm hired help. With a big mouth, true -but a subordinate all the fucking time. Whatever deals you had with Havoc surrounding the invite had *nothing* to do with you and me calling each other a faggot on irc.

He's a very talented guy but was not motivated at all and the intro needed a logo in a hurry. He did what he could in the very short timeframe with no motivation at all.

Timbo logic at work here. He procured, but did not credit. When people pointed it out, Lotek was nothing short of a sore loser when people dared talk about it. Childish, but I guess it runs in the family.

How is that any more "heroic" than poking at Danny for copying in the old days and calling him a scanner? I bet it's even FUN to poke a guy who turned his back to the scene almost a decade ago. Nothing like a mute target, folks! Step right up! That's fucking sick.

Putting me up as if I'm some sort of a backstabber for correcting you on something that is completely unrelated to the dementia troubling you is lame. Calm down, have an enema of whatever you prescribe Skrebbel and come back again.

get your facts straight. the guy who did the logo is NOT from tSCc.

Oh hey, that's convenient! I suppose I'm not to blame for putting out Spiderman 3 as a TPB demo because someone else *outside of TPB* supplied it!

You were more fun to argue with during the textmode days :)

added on the 2007-05-31 03:11:46 by Shifter Shifter
Shifter: I will let you argue and lecture alone if you don't mind, that's the only thing you're good at demoscenewise, so I won't try to take that away from you and I am probably no match for it. Have fun.

And if you keep behaving that way, throwing shit at people who worked for you (tSCc anc C-Rem among others), I really hope you will get the fuck out of Outline org team next year.

Gloves are still off, and I hope we can laugh about this some day:

Again, none of these people worked for *me*. Get that out of your mind already. They were, as far as I could tell, happy to do their thing for Outline, not Shifter. This included you, right? I cannot for the goddamn love of Bob recall putting you up for the task to make an invite for Shifter^H^H^H^H^H^H^HOutline. Hell, while we're being bitches on the internet: Limp Ninja pulled an Icons 2007 release intended as an invite for Outline because they heard Keops was already working on one. Imagine that, people backing out because a sure-fire winner was on the horizon already! Cut the mustard or the hypocrisy already, Frenchman.

And as for me quitting on your bequest -you seriously have no fucking right. Havoc can ask me to back out, no questions asked. It's his party and I'll cry if he wants to. People like Sparcus, Skrebbel and Okkie can argue if it's for the best and I'll step away. They are reasonable people. But no fucking way am I bowing out of a party I am happy to be a part of, because of one guy being a sore loser.

Especially since he has not mustered the courage to visit a damn party this side of the century. Tell me to fuck off from the places you actually are present, or stop talking.

I'm glad to join the club of "sore losers" along with Lotek and C-Rem. Seems like most people who worked on Outline's invits this year are sore losers, very nice coming from one of the orgs, that shows the spirit (which was quite different before you ever joined the org team).

As for me attending parties, I've lived 6000km away from Europe most of the time since 2001 (New York then Montreal) with 2 or 3 weeks of vacation a year.
I don't attend because I have other obvious priorities when coming bacj to Europe but at least I try to bring my contribution with invits, not with bashing on people who make the invits, unlike you.

well what the hell, two mature guys behaving like idontknowwhat, especially you shifter. show some decency already, it's really not nice how you drag an invitro for (yes-not-only-)your party into the mud, just because of one damn guestlogo mishappening.

but the MOSt said part of this is, that the whole quarrel is all because a certain nutcase started this thread, most likely in order to desperately grasp some contents for a certain publication - and now he's got more food than he could ever expect. great! :(

and shifter, your comment about lotek is simply over the top. i know your mind is totally somewhere else right now scenewise, but it would be good that you would think about what you write for a minute. and probably apologize.

i still wonder why certain person (i dont wanna name them) denial about this tscc logo thingie. i read some old c-rem interview and he did some copy-paste from graphics he admited it.

It`s about time to wake up and smell the coffee, we can all be idealistic, but cheaters will always win. There has been to many graphicians that have cheated in the past, infact so many have cheated that the competition was all FAIR, except for the few idealistic dudes that spent months on handpixelling their own work and did get average placings in the gfx compos. They got no fame and glory but atleast they were honest people, but in todays society people like that are loosers.

We can draw parallells to the bicycling sport, where 90% are doped and people dont care if they are doped aslong as the majority is doped.

That`s why demosceners still celebrates and glorifies the gfx cheaters today, they dont care because most of the graphicians were cheating, and probably doped too :)

(joke)question rises: what dope you are on zplex if you are so pro-doping?(/joke)

ok, so what is the situation with that "Danny" image (the second one with the 4 stages). Is it pixelled/scanned ? I remember seeing it in Hugi I think and it impressed me quite alot.

I'm told graphicians are often into dope

Dipswitch, i never start a thread to make an article out of it.

Navis, the Hugi picture is drawn by Bridgeclaw.
The picture of two woman with tatoos on there breasts
in the beginning of this thread is drawn by Danny and
won the The Party 1995 gfx compo.

i'll just want to add that, as much as shifter can go way over the top on issues, we're still discussing on the internet, and we all know what it means if you win at that.

and outline, outline is not on the internet, outline is real. i'm just another hired help myself, but i'd hate to do the thing without shifter. keops, you've never even met the guy, you've not seen outline. i don't blame you for that, don't get me wrong. but please separate your judgments about someone's organising efforts from his opinion on things. fair enough if you think shift is a backstabber, but you've simply got no fucking say over how a party is run if you're not on the organiser list.

that poster with the special olympics picture has some sense in it, you know. you throw mud at a forum, and then when you meet at a party, both feel like that kid running his ass off, and both be sharing a beer less than half a minute later.

Navis: that's not a Danny image, that's Bridgeclaw - i think Hugi actually has a making-of article about it too.

Oh god, so true! And you can substitute 'organising efforts' into a lot of things actually.

Sweet Jesus, this thread is a trainwreck.
