Thanks dipswitch. When I posted this, I thought it would be a more interesting and nice subject for the scene to discuss. There are some good replies, but since my text size was so big and everybody expected something else from me, this was bound to happen (although in a small degree and somehow I loled at kkcrunchy comments :). Anyways, I let the discussion go on..
actually, there exist a lot of kewl tools which make working in a group much easier: internal mailinglists , more groupware, etc
despite stupid comments (mines included), i think the thread can bring up interesting and funny stories from long standing sceners - hope to read some!
Hmm... Who's the oldest scener?
First I would like to say Hi to all sceners here on pouet couse I'm new here :).
I'm a coder in ALLien Senses (or asenses for short) demogroup which was founded in 2004. We're all quite new to the scene (only one 16sec demo released so far).
Since we have a lot of members and nearly every member lives in different part of Poland it's quite hard to cooperate and to motivate each other. We're plannin our first group-meeting this year, maybe on a party.
Luckily we have great org! He has really big talent of recruiting new people, keeping it all together and ensuring that work is going on all time. And I'm getting a constant flames from him for not being on time with a code ;)

broderick: Someone told me that a guy called Irata is the oldest scener ever (when you mean oldest, do you mean when he joined the scene or his age? I think that guy meaned the time he joined the scene), but can someone validate that?
