Which computer do you have?
category: general [glöplog]
that black one with the blue thing on it!
alwaarna je van het dak sprong? :P
nee, het dak is nog weer 8 verdiepingen omhoog, dus ik had eerst maar even een shot van het moederboard gemaakt:
tomic: the blue led on that thing is monstrous, isn't it? :)
If you're doing software rendering, then just find specs for a top-of-the-line system circa 1999, and go with that.
Primary PC:
AMD Athlon XP 2500+
1024 MB DDR 333MHz
GF6600 GT
Emergency PC:
Pentium 3 400 MHz
64 MB SDRAM 100 MHz
TNT2
Laptop:
Pentium MMX 166 MHz
80 MB RAM, type unknown
Funky graphics accelerator that seems to be made by Sony
Museum pieces:
Atari 1040
Commodore PC20-II (hard drive torn out for entertainment purposes)
Commodore C64 (Anyone willing to donate a floppy drive or two? In return, I will learn to code in BASIC and create an effect no C64 demo has ever featured, which is quite a feat for considering I hardly even know how to do text-only stuff ATM)

Fusion. P4 3.2ghz Prescott, 1G DDR/Dual channel RAM, 6600GT video, 160G drive, Santa Cruz sound card. Seriously built for endurance. Runs 36c idle, 46c under extended load. Thermalright XP-90 sink on the cpu w/panaflo L1B. NMB fans everywhere else. Note the intelligent fan controller on the corner of the rear fan. Very fast, very stable.
