what a nice fella, can we keep it?
we'll soon announce new cool things (schedule and prizes among things), but lemme remind you that there's 50 days left, so... arrange those flights, buses, boats, helicopters, plug in your tesla car, save up on high energy crunchy bars, put your favorite underpants in the washing machine, ask your mother to look after your hamster for that weekend, and above all, fire up your demo tools, bare metal assembly IDEs, unity, phoenix/aphex/whatever it is called these days, , trackers, fruity loops, photoshop, gimp or mspaint for some darn fine releases! :P
yea i also wanna make a music compo entry. in fact, from tonight i have 17 days off so expect some hardlined, liquor-induced, anti-holiday soaked scrotum puncher

Trophies are from Slovak sculptor Filip Šicko. Materials are bronze and concrete. These are apparent renders, and real objects are about to be created as hopefully lot of prods fighting for these prizes.

Also, here are some useful Slovakian phrases for you that i just googled to help you on your travels:
Hello – Dobrý deň (pronounced DOH-bree deñ)
Good night – Dobrú noc (pronounced DOH-broo nohts)
Yes – Áno (pronounced AAH-noh)
No – Nie (pronounced NYEE_eh)
How are you? ...
Thank you – Ďakujem (pronounced JAH-koo-yehm)
You are welcome -Prosím (pronounced PROH-seem)
Apparently 'how are you?' is just dropping an awkward silence until the Slovakian person will start telling how (s)he is! ;)

Do you want to play a game? - Chceš hrát?
I understand only a little Slovak - Rozumiem trochu po slovensky
Good bye - Do videnia

While learning some Slovak basics might be useful, you should be able to arrive without learning a word and rather spend the time on your productions! :))
Way more important is to bring stuff to show as according to my personal experiences, the prizes budget for the size of the party ain't trivial, and we wish to spend it all ;) - exact details on the party website (section Compos/Awards+Prizes). Bring also your old skool productions to show as we missed these contributions a lot last year. I hope leet statues and art jury painting, both in high artist values, will find a well deserving destination. Please, bring it on! No matter if personally or submitted via the internet - we reward all of you!

What I can say for now: You are going to see a new 256 byte intro coded by yours truly at Demobit 2018, as well as a photo.
How are you? - Ako sa máš?
Be quiet - zmlkni.
that's more like - shut up :D
Give me peace - Daj mi pokoj
nanuk
for me behind me - "pre mňa za mňa" (I don't care) :D
You are a donkey - Ty si somar
