how do you actually pronounce it? I refuse to say 'jiff' just out of habit.
Graphics Image Format or Jraphics Image Format? And if you pronounce it like this it sounds like Giraffics, haha.

I like the quirkiness of how it's supposed to be a soft g but I think hard g won a long time ago. It's a bitter victory though, because it doesn't make the word sound any less idiotic. Oh wait, a word? No, it's not. It's an acronym. I'd like to visit both the Uk and the You-sa some time. Snap some jay-pegs to bring back and show to the relatives.
