Kindergarden 2008

...just came home after ~8h of driving but it's alright, all swedes made it safetly back home!
thanks for the party guys... one thing I have to ask: is it really neccessary to play so DAMN loud at all parties (not just kg)? I forgot to bring earplugs and it was fucking hurting at times! Is this a "the biggest dick"-competition or what?

okay, where are the results? :D i wanna hear your track, xerxes! :D
rest of the pics are crap :D
The results are added to the pouet entry for KG08, and has been linked on the previous page ;)
I'm completely spent, just wanted to thank everyone that showed up this year to make KG08 the great experience it was. I'm sorry that I didn't have the time to be more social, but organizing compos with Gargaj demands the same level of dedication and excellence as Gargaj puts on himself (yes, that's a compliment).
PS: I have all the prods on my computer, and will probably start uploading to scene.org tomorrow after work.

I would say yes, but that comes without saying I guess (since I ran the sound system).
That being said, the system was never coming close to running at full power. We probably could have played twice as loud if we wanted to. So there was some "restraint" from our/my part, although everyone might not have felt that way :)
Just got home, completely exhausted.
Thanks to everyone who showed up :)

I can vouch for that. Friday last year lug00ber held some kind of unofficial sound test, and that damn near blew the roof off the building.
yep.. this year he only shook down a lamp :D
Good to see that the danish underpants brigade took care of half the compos!
dwarf: of course. and yours truly had even prepared with a boxer beforehands :D
Just came back to work... Thanks to all for a really cooll and cosy people. Also greets to all the people I talked to - long time since I've been talking to that much people at a party :D
Oh, and... again: sorry Gargaj! :D

of course you can \o/
@nytrik: if you mean the demo winner, it will be online thursday or earlier. Duckers wanted time to fix some stuff, so I gave him three days to do it. If no final version is made available before that, the party version goes online.
I hate endless waiting for finals as much as anyone. At the same time I think it's fair to give coders a fair chance to fix known problems, and to test their (party)code on different configurations before releasing a prod to the public.
Hopefully, this will help in avoiding some of the "this doesn't work on my computer" annoyance :)

Such a great party! Awesome foodage, friendly people, good productions, LOUD (I had earplugs, otherwise would have died from brain haemorrhage) music, and Darklite as constant entertainment :) Will be coming back next year for sure ^_^

I'm happy that you didn't have to spend any nights at hotels this year :D
It sounds fair : the credit list (Outracks/Nazareth Creations/Kvasigen/Portal Process ) is really promissing
nytrik: You _really_ want to see that demo, don't you. :)
right : i m a portal process fan !
I miss those robots with shitloads of poly synchcronized on dnb !

First time at Kindergarden, and I had a great time! I will try to fit this party in my exam-schedule the coming years too. It was really worth missing one weekend reading for exams and instead going to this party ;D
A big thanks to all the people who came and everyone who participated in the compos! You guys rock and I had a blast! =)
