I try to read some crack intro files with extension .PSX, but i don't know how to do it.

Does someone can tell me, please, how to open .PSX extension files?

Is it possible to convert .PSX extension into a viewable video by VLC or mediaplayer?

It has been a while but iirc .PSX means it is an executable file. Load into your PSX with Caetla or try an emulator.

Thanks for your help. I've tried to emulate with ePSXe and with PSX, but nothing works. For the software Caetla, i've looked but it's too difficult for a newbie like me to understand what it's made for and how it work

With some files from paradox it's written: The .psx file is an executable for the good old SONY Playstation (One). You can run it using the original hardware with transfer tools and hardware or simply by using a software emulator.

Do you know what they mean with "original hardware with transfer tools and hardware".
They say that it's possible to open with an emulator, but they don't say how to do

I guess they meant you can burn it on physical media and run it with a Playstation.

What's the file you're trying to run? Maybe it works with ePSXe and you just did something wrong.

In ePSXe 1.8.0:
File -> Run PS-EXE
Choose the option to show all file types
Pick the .psx file
enjoy, just tried it and it works

I've tried with a newest version of ePSXe and i did the operations that Tomoya has said. With the link you gave me it works fine :)

The problem is still there with the cracktro Kalisto Medievil here. I have a black screen, and no sound. If it works with some cracktro, but not with this one, do you think that this file is corrupted, or must i change some configurations of ePSXe?

That's all part of the emulation experience - sometimes stuff just doesn't work!

Anyway the Kalisto Medievil2 intro works fine with PCSX-Reloaded: http://pcsxr.codeplex.com/

Try a different video driver (Menu "Config" -> Video), some demos/games only work well with the "P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver" if memory serves me right. In any case it often helps to try a different video driver if you experience problems.

Looks like my memory didn't fail me! Just tried the Kalisto intro and with the OpenGL driver there was only a black screen, changed to the "P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver" and it worked without any problems!
