Hello,

after switching to EMU 0404 PCIe sound card, there is no sound in at least the Elevated by TBC, and Debris by Farbrausch.

Does anyone have any EMU cards in the system and sound working in these two demos?

Did you enable the soundcard as the default one for windows?

Close but no cigar - I did produce the music for Elevated on a EMU 0404 USB soundcard, though (yes all sound works fine here) ;)

yes, do choose the default soundcard in windows soundsettings, especially if you still have onboard sound enabled in BIOS. No problems with M-Audio Audiophile2496 here (although m-audio drivers suck like hell these days)

i remember how buggy that m-audio-driver was in 2007 already !

I use an ESI quatafire which is best known for being buggy everywhere. Weirdly enough, the day I got the remarkable idea of switching it as windows default, I earnt some precious scene points.
