it says you actually have to shoot twice to get the 3d thing, so what exactly is new apart from having two viewfinders?

It has a 3D screen, and you need a special 3D screen to view the images.
that makes it either pretty pointless or a clever product tie-in
however, if you think about it as a handheld with a true 3d lcd screen, it could easily turn into a great game platform :)
Can't you just make it make stereopics/movies??
It has an app to do make pics for oldschool cyan/red glasses from what I found.
