At work we are doing a boring administration system. It includes a "The system is down for maintenance" page that pops up if a user tries to log in while we are making system wide changes. So; in order to make it a bit more interesting for the locked out users, we were thinking about embedding/including a bit of fun on the page, like a Flash-game or whatever.

Any suggestions? (..that ARE work-friendly and actually considered fun? :)

Include a track from gloom on the page, it will do the job (it would do it for me)

Put a fairlight loading screen on, people will come back half an hour later then instead of refreshing every two minutes :D

A little FLT game, called "Follow the ribbon". You act as a lemming, following a ribbon that, consequently, leads you to the abyss, where you jump and die.

This is fun...

I think livejournal used to let you play tetris or pacman while the system was down, which was nice. I like the one-liner idea though!
