I disagree,

Z26 is by far the best emulator for Atari 2600 VCS.

do the emulators come with roms ? (i'm afraid they don't)
most emus doesnt come with roms.... i only remember getting the PSPVice ZIP with some scenestuff & old games in it...

http://www.planetemu.net <- here is a huge collection of roms.

Errm, I suppose he didn't mean game "roms"... So to answer this question, WinVice has the roms included, WinUAE comes without kickstart roms (due to silly copyright reasons). They shouldn't be too hard to find though.

ahh sry, you right.... well, the KICKROMS for Amiga emus are still copyrighted by cloanto i think.. the needed TOS-ROMs for Atari ST emus are avaiable on planetemu.

For Amstrad CPC/CPC+ under Windows

WinAPE (lastest is 2.0a12)
http://www.winape.net

The roms are in the zip.

•run WinAPE
•Type '1' to start with basic.
•Simply insert the disk image *.dsk
•Type 'cat' (= DIR) then type 'run "the_name_of_the_file'
" = [shift]+[2]

Sometime you need to type '|cpm'
| = [¨]
----------------------- PC --------------

C=64: CCS64
has really nice features and i had less problems than with the others.
http://www.computerbrains.com/ccs64/

Amiga: of course, WinUAE (or is there a better one??)
http://www.winuae.net/

N64: Project64
Ocarina of time ran superb a few years ago.
http://www.pj64-emu.com/

-------------------- DS ------------------
C64: FrodoDS
... because it's the only c64 emulator atm.
http://gpf.dcemu.co.uk/Frodoc64.shtml

got my M3-simply yesterday and will probably add other plattforms in
the future :D

Like this demo http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=9044.. any emulator?

There is no video and a long rant by zonkham how this demo would not even run on real machines. This must be the most outstanding demo nobody can watch.

btw.. the emulator link on that page is dead.

For Atari XL/XE

Atari800Win (lastest Plus 4.0)
http://www.a800win.atari-area.prv.pl/

•Just drag'n'drop the file in the emulator (Numen.atr i.e.) [simple way]
•Add memory -> Atari -> memory size -> 320KB
•As often [Alt]+[ENTER] for fullscreen/windowed mode

Use arrow keys & spacebar for this demo
