More than a years ago fashion (my demoscene wife) and me started building a new home base on a remote island that is somewhat "in" Thailand. There are tons of nerdy, creative expats there, and the Berlin techno scene basically moved there in full. That home base is now in the state where it makes sense to make it the physical center of our lives.
While we still have our businesses in Germany, those have been downsized massively as we also run a nerd company that is supported by the thai government there.
But we still have that gigantic hall full of demoparty equipment and electronics from our networking product business, collected during the last 25 years. Monthly rental of that hall costs me more than a huge villa would in Thailand. So the hall has to go.
My motivation is that I do not want to see stuff that is still good for use to go into trash. I want to make some money, but that is not a priority. If I can support a good cause - and that includes an organization that does demoparties - money is even less relevant.
For most objects it really only makes sense to pick them up locally, as shipping costs often may be higher than the value of the object. And it mostly makes sense for party orgas that ideally understand German language and can drive to Bingen am Rhein by car.
In general the equipment mostly is ideal for doing OUTDOOR demoparties or hacker camps etc, as most was bought for the Underground Conference Party series, which was outdoor.

- Party kitchen equipment (large pots, food warmers, hot drink tanks, etc.)
- Outdoor UC path lighting (solar LED spotlights with motion detectors on posts)
- Ratchet straps, 4-6 meters
- Giganto ratchet straps, 10-25 meters
- UC LED walls
- Truck tarpaulins, with eyelets, various sizes
- Art supplies (brushes, palettes, canvases, etc.) [free]
- Super Soaker water guns
- Water hoses, submersible pumps, Gardena stuff
There will be a pick-up event in May. Bingen am Rhein, Germany, near Frankfurt
Please note: This offer here is ONLY for known demo party organizers and registered organizations who are willing to come pick stuff up in May. I wish to get rid of the equipment in bulk, not running a public flea market.
