That could be the "Commodore 1084S" https://bigbookofamigahardware.com/bboah/product.aspx?id=850

i agree with rloaderro.
personally i would say, the "Commodore 1084" was the normal (mono audio) version, while the "Commodore 1084S" was the pro (stereo audio) version.

It's a bit steep but honestly, nothing comes close to the picture you get with a 1084 or equivalent. I've tried CRT TVs, flatscreen TVs, flatscreen monitors supporting 50 Hz/15kHz on VGA and so on and nothing beats the 1084.

All the dithering, AA and general pixelwork on the scene and in games has pretty much been produced on and for the 1084 and it shows. This goes for a lot of demo effects as well. It doesn't look bad on other screens, it just doesn't look as good.

I've already got a few of them, but if I didn't I'd be willing to pay quite a bit money for one in good working condition.

Commodore 1942 was better. 1084 is perfect for the C64.

Disagree. 1942 was a bi-sync that worked well if you wanted to use 31kHz AGA modes, but it's pointless for something like the A500. Also, its PAL display was too sharp with too pronounced scanlines. The 1084 was made for use with the Amiga 500 and is the gold standard for PAL and NTSC screen modes.
