All the music and artwork for this "album" were created using generative neural networks.
Humanity has long reveled in its superiority in creating art, but it seems that has come to an end.
As it turns out, creating meaningful text only requires predicting the next letter, and the same goes for art.
Yes, one could argue that it's all "fake", with nonsensical lyrics, poor mixing, and overall low quality. But the fact is that just a month ago, I couldn't have imagined creating my first musicdisk. Now, with the help of neural networks, that appeared just this month, this has become possible.
Some might say it's merely an automatic compilation and repetition of existing content, very derivative, and therefore can't be considered "art".
However, the problem is, we can say the same for most works created by manhumans.
And ultimately, who is the judge?
The judge has always been the spectators, and if the spectators considers something created with AI as art, then it is. (Regardless of what you understand by AI)
In general, based on the fact that many artists, even if they do not use generative AI for works, use AI for inspiration, or are inspired by the works of artists using AI, we can say that any art created after 2023 is potentiality created using AI. This is the sad or happy reality.
Once upon a time, the demoscene one of the first defended the fact that digital art is art. And demoscene achieved success, being recognized as a UNESCO heritage site. Now part of the demoscene is trying that art created with AI is not art. Mmm...
At the same time, the democene has come to terms with ready-made engines, and even game engines in demos, fully animated demos, etc. Why is there such a strong rejection of AI? All of these are difficult questions.
One of the main problems that I see is the crisis of viewers. Finding a viewer for any art has become even more difficult - now there are several generative AI neural networks per viewer.
Eniway, in my oppinion, we are pretty close to the singularity, or rather the in process of building it, and right now we are witnessing "TheEnd" of the usual world.
Everything has already happened, it’s too late to worry about "TheEnd".
