.help.
Keyboard:
ESCAPE - exit music disk
LEFT/RIGHT - play previous/next module
TAB - change visualization effect (random)
SPACE - make Init minimized, so you can work with other
applications and listen to the music
1,2,3...,9 - change module (see credits below for track list)
V - turn visualization on/off
Of course you can use mouse and click various elements of the panel (for
example exit button or visualization window) to get some interesting
operations. :)
While music disk is minimized you still can change music module or simply
exit Init by clicking on the system tray icon (with 'Init' text). Popup
menu with needed items will appear.
You can always enter the setup by executing "init.exe" with -setup
parameter!
.requirements.
- pentium processor
- svga with minimum 2MB RAM onboard (for 16-bit modes)
or 4MB (for 32-bit modes)
- soundcard (which can play 44.1kHz/16bit/stereo sound)
- windows 9x/2k
- directx 7
.explaination.
The music disk works in 800x600 resolution with truecolor or hicolor. It
requires two video pages for clean rendering some effects. That's why it
requires so much video memory. However, we think that 4MB RAM on the
graphics card is today absolutely minimum. If you don't have even 2MB of
video memory (you would run Init in 16bit), you still can listen to the
music from this music disk by playing all modules with your favourite
module-player (XMPlay is strongly recommended) - all music files are
stored in 'music' subdirectory. Enjoy!
