This demo requires at least a 486. It will run on slower machines, but it
will be very slow. A Gravis Ultrasound Card is recommended, although it
will work on other soundcards like the SoundBlaster.
The Gravis Ultrasound needs to be equiped with at least 512kb of memory.
The Demonstration needs about 7000Kb of Free Extended Memory.
The Saturday demo is Pentium optimised, running without a coprocessor
will slow down the demo so much, we think it should be considered
impossible.
Running the demo from a slow loading device like double speed CD-ROM
isn't recommended because the demo has to load while running.
Minimum System to run this Demo on is this computer:
ú CPU 486DX
ú SVGA Card (with at least 320x200 and 640x480 support)
ú VESA 1.2 or higher
ú 8Mb memory
Recommended System to run this Demo on is this computer:
ú CPU Pentium (100Mhz or better)
ú PCI SVGA Card 2Mb (for high resolutions) or better
ú VESA 1.2 or higher
ú Gravis Ultrasound (Mem. 512kb)
ú 8Mb memory
If there are problems with the sounddevice, start the demo with the
/s option: SATURDAY /s [enter]
This will call manual configuration of the demo.
Try the /write4KB option for more phun.
