shash: So, I've been working on this for a while, and it's 7am in
morning after coding all night. Keep that in mind. I would like to
thank Min, who answered some questions about path tracing in 4k when
I started this project, and iq (and shadertoy), for some of the
algorithms used in this 4k: without the insane ammount of shaders he
created as a reference, creating this would have been WAY harder.
About the 4k, it's basically a raymarcher with distance faded
reflections and one bounce of GI (with only 6 rays over an hemisphere,
with a few hacks). As for performance, size restrictions made me undo
some optimizations done while prototyping, sorry for that :( Hope you
like it, it's been quite an interesting development :)
slack: I think shash has done a really amazing job with this one,
I hope people like it as much as I do :D. Now, time for another round
of optimization. As a wise man once said to me, "we still have ten
bytes, let's add another effect" :D
