	FILES IN THE PACKAGE
	--------------------

After unpacking SERIOUS.ZIP, you should have the following files:

                README.1ST - This file
                SERIOUS.EXE - Demo executable file
                SERIOUS.MOD - The ProTracker module
                JPINFO10.TXT - Information about Jeskola!Productions
                FILE_ID.DIZ - BBS file description

        HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS AND OPTIONS
        ---------------------------------

This -mo requires a 80386 processor and 600 000 (or something)
bytes of free conventional memory and 1 300 000 bytes of free XMS/EMS.

To be able to really experience this demo, we recommend that
you have a fast 486-based machine, a fast VGA card and a sound card.
If your machine is slower, the demo will work, but many
parts slow down and the demo simply looks shit.

If you have a DOLBY SURROUND decoder/amplifier hooked up to
your hi-fi set, have it on-line while running this demo and
you will get some cool surround sound effects.

        NOTES FROM THE CODER
        --------------------

I coded this demo just to get the prize-money from the Abduction
demo compo to pay my phonebills. I started to make it a few days before
the parties and didn't have time to code a vertical retrace interrupt
routine so that it would run fast with slow machines too. Especially
the part with two glenzes and a cube runs very slow, because I didn't
have time to optimize it. It could be much faster. If this demo or
whatever runs slow on your system, go to buy a faster computer!
Also the gouraud shading routine has some _serious_ bugs but after all,
this is a _serious_ production .. ehhehe......
BTW: Serious has probably more bugs than Quark's brains!
