: Here it is, the MOD converter for the Blackbox Music Box Sound System. :

: The idea for this converter is not to convert current .mod files, :
: but for the user to use a tracker program (FT2/IT), and convert to :
: the Blackbox format. :

: Run in a dos window... :

: c:\m2mb.exe filename<.mod> :
: :
: The .mod extension is not necessary, the program will append if not :
: present. :
: :
: It will create a file, <filename>.sav, that is exactly 8192 bytes. :
: :
: m2mb will re-create the note sequences, and the instrument number :
: for 13 patterns for each voice. This limitation is due to Music box, :
: and not the converter. :

: Here are my suggestions: :

: 1. Load up Fast Tracker 2 :
: 2. Load the demo song, garp.mod :
: 3. ZAP the song, but not the instruments. :
: 4. Create your own music, using voice 1 on channel 1, :
: voice 2 on channel 2, etc, when you want to stop a note, :
: use any note with instrument #5, which is an empty instrument. :
: 5. Give credit to Blackbox. :
