³ ³ º º utbreak is a demogroup located in the south of sweden, wich have ³ ³
³ ³ ÈÍͼ some local members who are dealing with some heavy graphics, ³ ³
³ ³ music, and of cource, coding. ³ ³
³ ³ We are pretty often travelling around to different demopartys to ³ ³
³ ³ compete at the usual competitions. ³ ³
³ ³ We are also coding BBS-utilitys, sw-programs and other utils... ³ ³

³ ³ º º utbreak was fouded in the summer of '95 and then we were ³ ³
³ ³ ÈÍͼ just coding BBS-utils for our BBS. We were doing lots of smaller ³ ³
³ ³ applications for DOS and we were visiting some demopartys, for ³ ³
³ ³ instance CC95 (Computer Convention) wich was, sad enough, a disaster. ³ ³
³ ³ At that time Outbreak consisted of one coder (TheC) and two (!) 3D-GFX ³ ³
³ ³ (Cl0ne and Tonic). ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ Ok. Later on, Breakin (coder) & Fnordman (music) got involved in ³ ³
³ ³ Outbreak. They had their own group called EMILBUS, and were just ³ ³
³ ³ kicked by Sublime (Hint, EMILBUS backwards...). ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ Terminator (now known as Metronome) joined us as a musician. He was a ³ ³
³ ³ beginner, but was going on to be a goodie... won TGTBT96 multichannel ³ ³
³ ³ compo for example, but when he had already left for Goto10, ³ ³
³ ³ complaining that we were. ³ ³
³ ³ inactive, something that he of course, will regret now then we are ³ ³
³ ³ producing demos, sound & vision to the rest of the world =) ³ ³
³ ³ Nope, no hard feelings... hej Henke! ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ Well, after a while Sublime was showing an interest of Outbreak, and ³ ³
³ ³ they suggested that Sublime and Outbreak should be one single group. ³ ³
³ ³ And so we did. Sublime was the new name of our group, and sure, we had ³ ³
³ ³ a pretty nice time togetha. There were also some Amiga pals in Sublime ³ ³
³ ³ and we also held the TGTBT96 (Too Good To Be True) in Munka Ljungby, ³ ³
³ ³ south of sweden. During that, the Amiga-Sublime members got pissed, ³ ³
³ ³ and they wanted to break Sublime into molecules, wich we did. ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ So, Outbreak was back to normal, with some new members. The new ³ ³
³ ³ members was the excellent musicians Merlin & Liquid Buddha, and a very ³ ³
³ ³ good graphic artist named Mantic. Fnordman, however, decided to leave ³ ³
³ ³ Outbreak. ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ After some months, LB (Liquid Buddha) also decided to leave Outbreak, ³ ³
³ ³ inactivity was proberly the right reason... ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ Two traders joined us so they can help us spread our productions, they ³ ³
³ ³ are known as N0b and $cranton. ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ Wow, lately we at last realized that internet was growing a LOT. So we ³ ³
³ ³ descided to ask Warchild if he wanted to be our internet organizer. ³ ³
³ ³ He could not resist... ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ Carter also got into outbreak as an excellent musician, as he felt ³ ³
³ ³ that outbreak was the right group to join. ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ At this moment Mantic got Lunatic and left Outbreak. No hard feelings. ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ Under the past 2 years, we have coded some small utils, and I (Thec) ³ ³
³ ³ have written some Pascal-for-beginners-texts and some music has been ³ ³
³ ³ released. At HYPE'97 we was competing with our first demo(s) called ³ ³
³ ³ lovetro(tm) and otb-ansi (no name really) and it did'nt go quite well. ³ ³
³ ³ Ok, lovetro came 4th or something like that, but hey! we were not ³ ³
³ ³ expecting anything, it was coded in 1 day or so... also were the very ³ ³
³ ³ cool ANSI-64kb (guess who did it =). ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ We are now known as some strange people at parties, dressing strange, ³ ³
³ ³ deliver cool products and is the very first receiver of the words: ³ ³
³ ³ "Shall it sound like this" in a music-compo (Hype'97). The song came ³ ³
³ ³ out shared 10th =) As a matter of fact, the organizer stopped the song ³ ³
³ ³ after 2 patterns, and asked that stupid question, and they were forced ³ ³
³ ³ to play it over again =) ³ ³
³ ³ ³ ³
³ ³ Our future looks fine. Our 2D & 3D-effects starting to look good, and ³ ³
³ ³ we are coding on some serious productions for the demoparties in '97. ³ ³
