Disk Maggie 01 by The Lost Boys
DISK MAGGIE V. 1.0
Well, well here we go again. Here it is, the long awaited Disk
Magazine by the Lost Boys in association with NEXT and their
friends. As you know who the Lost Boys are, we will leave the
explanation for now. This is the 1st Issue and we hope that yuou
will like it.
Currently I am at the Atari '90 show here in London at Budgie UK
stand. This document basically contains some last information,
like I was just asked by NICK HARLOW TO make a little add for
his PD library. So, get your things of him!!!! (But then again,
it is your choice, do not forget that the Lost Boys also have
their own PD library).
This show is actually pretty big and we have today (1st of June)
already met the Replicants, Watchmen, New Order and some other
great groups. In the next Issue you will find a full report on
all the three days of the show.
By the way, the disk magazine is called MAGGIE (spelled with IE
and not Y as it says on the main menu (little mistake their from
Spaz, but then again he is only English and as everybody knows
they can't even speak or write their own language. Anyway, Spaz
is currently standing behind me, I suppose that he wants to type
something, so here we go:
You should see the spelling mistakes Sammy joe is making while
typing this text. This show is not that good because i have
talked so much i'm loosing my voice. Currently there are lots of
strange people standing round doing nothing, as usuall. Soon it
will be time to go and i will be able to go home and have my
dinner. At the moment all i can here is a high pitched tone (like
when you switch off your TV) and it's very very annoying.
So far today i have only been given about four free disks and
lots and lots of bits of paper with peoples adresses on them,
more letters to send out. Now some graphix,

Wicked graphix, well not that bad anyway.
As Spaz has wasted a lot of space, I have decided to type some
more serious stuff ! The disk contains 400 K of unpacked text
data files. As all of it is packed, the disk contains only
packed files.
Please send us game solutions, game reviews and whatever you feel
like, so get typing !!! The next issue will be out with some luck
within the next month.
Look out for the hidden article. A small hint, The Lost Boys have
written an intro for somebody else. It is for somebody who does
menus. I think that that was all that I should tell you, so find
out the disk number and then see if you can find it somewhere in
the disk mag (it is a pretty high number!!). Then see what you
can do with it. Tomorrow I will type the final bit, .....
Well. I have finally received the stuff by NEXT, sorry that it
took so long, but it was bloody hard to incorporate it in the
mag. All the screens are very very good. What a shame that they
could not get their very nice menu working in time. Also, one of
their screens does not work on the STE. The next issue of the
disk magazine will have a perfect version of the ST CHARTS, so
